The University of Baghdad College of Medicine, in collaboration with the University of Babylon College of Medicine, hosted the opening session of the Third Iraqi Conference on Cardiac Imaging by Echocardiography 2025, held under the theme:
“Echocardiography: The Current State and the Era of Artificial Intelligence.”
The session witnessed a broad academic and scientific presence, reflecting a spirit of cooperation and innovation.

Delivering a speech on behalf of the University President, Dr. Al-Hashemi expressed the University’s pride in hosting such a pivotal scientific event. He reaffirmed the University Presidency’s support for initiatives that elevate the status of medical education and serve the broader community.

🟠 Remarks by Prof. Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Mani’ Al-Alwani – Dean, College of Medicine, University of Baghdad
Dr. Al-Alwani commended the distinguished Iraqi faculty specializing in echocardiography for their pioneering role in advancing medical education and cardiac diagnostics. He also acknowledged the growing interest among students in pursuing this vital field, considering their support an investment in a new generation equipped to keep pace with global advancements.

🟠 Remarks by Prof. Dr. Muhannad Al-Shallah – Dean, College of Medicine, University of Babylon

🟠 Remarks by Prof. Dr. Ghazi Farhan Al-Hajji – Coordinator of the Postgraduate Diploma in Echocardiography
