The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad held its official graduation ceremony for the 95th graduating class on February 7th, the second day of the program. The ceremony was a grand and celebratory affair, reflecting the deep sense of belonging and rich academic heritage of Baghdad Medical College. It was attended by a large number of students’ families and faculty members.

The ceremony featured a distinguished address by Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan  Al-Alwany, Dean of the College. In his speech, he highlighted the historical and humanistic significance of Baghdad Medical College, emphasizing that graduation is not merely a fleeting moment but a pivotal milestone in shaping the future.

He described it as a message that extends from the lecture halls to the fields of service to humanity and the nation, and that the students represent the true continuation of a continuous scientific legacy built by generations of dedication and commitment.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the 95th graduating class presented a plaque of appreciation to the Dean, expressing their gratitude for his significant efforts, unwavering support, and academic and humanitarian contributions, which have had a clear impact on supporting the students and fostering a robust learning environment.
